As I travel around the state of Montana for my job, I come by some interesting sites.  One of my favorite subjects, is the interesting “Fence Post Art” around the state.  Here are a couple more fine examples.  Click one of the pictures to see larger views.  Click HERE to see more pictures that I have taken from around the great state of Montana.

Our church had the Montana Mens’ Encounter in late February. Reggie Dabbs was our main speaker.  Reggie has a powerful ministry to youth and the testimony of what God has done in his life is awesome!  He also plays a mean saxophone.  I took a short video, and here it is…

Living in the Elkhorn Mountains in Southwest Montana, we are used to getting lots of snow.  We have been waiting for the usual spring snow storms to arrive, and they did not disappoint us.  Last night we got about eight inches of snow.  Here is a picture.  Notice the back of the basket ball backboard.  Yes, the kids have  been out playing  basketball in the nice spring weather that preceded the snow storm.

A while back, I posted a couple of pictures of a moustrap car that Katie built for Science Olympiad.  Quite a few people have looked at those pictures while searching for “Reversible Moustrap Cars”.  That prompted us to make a short video of how we made our moustrap car reverse.  Click on the video below to see how we did it.  Enjoy!  By the way, this video was made with the great Openshot Video Editor for Ubuntu Linux.

I cropped one of them and made it suitable for use as a desktop wallpaper.  Click the picture below, then right click and select “Save As” and save it on your computer.

Carol and I took a week off from our jobs to work on some unfinished items in our house. We have been in this house for about five years.  The house had a large unfinished area that we remodeled into a nice family room, a spare bed room, and work shops for Carol and me.  We finished most of it several years ago, but as for our shop areas, we did not.  During our week off, we framed in windows and closets, trimmed up the doors and windows, installed closet doors, added shelves in the closets, and finished the base boards around the rooms.  We also decided to move the door in our bed room from one side to an adjacent wall.  Click a picture to see larger views.

The Weather Report V.S. Reality… The weather report says we are supposed to get less than a half inch of snow.  It has reported this for a couple of days.  It has been snowing steadily, but lightly, for over the past 24 hours and we now have close to a half a foot, not a half an inch.  Click on a picture to see a larger view.

We are used to living in this odd little weather bubble at Jefferson City, Montana.  I guess it is time to go plow the snow!
