Ad Nauseum: Latin term used to describe an argument which has been continuing “[to the point of] nausea”.
Our snow is now no longer a point of fascination. It has turned “monumental.” When I posted my previous entry, we had eight to ten inches of snow. Now, several hours later, I plowed one more time and need to do it a third time, we have close to 20 inches of snow. And, it is still snowing like crazy. I am not looking forward to plowing yet a third time, but I will need to before it starts getting dark outside.
While I was plowing, I noticed flashing lights on the Interstate exit to Jefferson City. Carol informed me that they closed the road beyond that point and were sending people back toward Helena.
I remind you it is March 29th — Spring time in the Rockies.
Here are a few more pictures of the ever piling snow, and a quick video of our Sunday morning church service at home.
Here is a small video of a portion of our Home Church Worship Service.
A.K.A. – Where Is Global Warming When You Need It?
This morning, we woke to a LOT of snow on the ground and much more falling from the air. While everyone got ready for church, I started up the snow plow and plowed the road up to our house. There was a lot, and it was very heavy. After breakfast, we all piled into the Chevy Suburban and attempted to go to church. We made it about nine miles, and turned around. The highway had several inches of snow on it and there were signs of vehicles off the road in many places. We feared that we would not make it back to our house later if the snow kept falling at it’s current rate; and the heavy wet snow on the highway was a very dangerous place to be. I am glad we made the decision to turn around as we already had a very difficult time getting back up the road to our house. If we would have come home a couple of hours later, we all would have ended up walking home from the bottom of our hill.
Since we did not make it into town for church, we decided to hold our own church service. Carol played the piano, while we sang several hymns; then we read a portion of Proverbs 3 and I expounded upon it. We would have preferred to have made it to church in Helena, but our own was good too. God is good! All the time!

P.S. As soon as I got done posting this, I checked out the road report, and our area is now “Emergency Travel Only.” We already knew that!
This year, we were honored with the presence of Mark Lowry. Mark is a Christian Comedian, Singer, and Songwriter. He is well known for his thirteen years association with the Gaither Vocal Band, and has announced to us that he has returned recently to the Gaither’s after a several year solo career. Mark was accompanied by the very talented pianist Stan Witmire. That man can make the piano “sing”.
Mark gave us a very entertaining but thought provoking message. Our sides were splitting and we were gasping for breath from all the laughing that he caused us to do. What a great time we had at this year’s “Mens’ Advance.” Click the picture or HERE to see some photos of the Advance.
