We make a ton of this every year. I quadruple the recipe, then make three batches of the quadrupled batch. By the time Christmas is past, we are ready to give it up until the next year.

Christmas starts in the McDougalls’ Home the day after Thanksgiving. We love the Christmas season, and celebrate it to the full. What an exciting time of the year as we remember how Jesus humbled himself and came to this earth as a baby. We packaged up all of the Thanksgiving decorations and unloaded our store house of Christmas stuff.

On Saturday, we went out and hunted down our Christmas tree. There wasn’t much snow in the hills. It will seem more like Christmas when we get some. Here are some pictures of us getting our tree and putting it up. The kids are getting old enough to take over some of the decorating tasks, and are excited about getting it all up. They are decking out their rooms too.

It is Christmas time!
