I am privelaged in my job to be able to travel across this beautiful state. Today, I needed to go down toward Big Sky, and West Yellowstone. Spring is here, but the snow is still very deep in places. I don’t know if Big Sky was open for skiing, but it sure looked like there was a large amount of snow on the mountain.

Further down, toward West Yellowstone, I came a cross about a half dozen or so buffalo wandering around the highway. The one in the picture next to the sign, was gingerly scratching its side against the pole the sign was hung on. I was sure, the sign was going to come down.
I also saw a hundred or so antelope and a LARGE elk herd of probably more that a hundred! Yes, Montana is beautiful!

A couple of days ago, before we got our big April snow storm, there was deer a-plenty. Here are some of them wandering around in our yard making our cat Mocco very nervous. After our snow storm, the elk came down near our house. Click HERE to see some pictures of the deer and a video clip we took of the elk.
