Clancy School hosted a Spring Concert consisting of three schools. Clancy, Boulder, and Montana City students attended this nice concert on May 19th.  Ana has been playing the clarinet this year and participated in the concert.  Ana and all of the students from the three schools did a fantastic job.

Here are a few photos of things I’ve come across in the past couple of weeks while traveling around Montana and at home.

A Cattle Drive In Montana

A Cattle Drive In Montana

It is spring time in Montana and the ranchers are moving their cattle.  As I travel across this beautiful state, I frequently come across cattle drives.  This was a large one and whenever traffic started to make headway through the drive, the cattle sped up also, and made our achievement, null and void.

Don't Park In My Spot!

Don't Park In My Spot!

OK now, for all you A.D.A. experts out there, this one takes things to the extreme.  OK, OK, we won’t park there!Wink Actually, it is a dog kennel that is for sale.

Those Fake Branches Are Ruining My View.

Those Fake Branches Are Ruining My View.

This one is really wild.  Oh, I want to live in the mountains of Montana, AND I wasn’t my precious cell phone, but don’t you dare put up a tower to ruin my view!  So, let’s put some fake branches on it and ruin a wider portion of the view!  (BTW, being a Ham Radio Operator, in my opinion, a tower never ruins the view, IT IS THE VIEW.)

Katie turned 15 on May 6. On the following weekend, we celebrated with a small party and she had a few friends over for a sleep over.  We had a fun party with Lasagna, then a very delicious ice cream cake.
Have a blessed year Katie, We love you!

We just picked up “Come What May” from our local Christian Book Store yesterday. We have been anxious to see this film since before it was actually released.

“Come What May” was made by homeschoolers, Advent Film Group, and Patrick Henry College.  This is their first film, and for being their first, it will touch your heart and challenge your convictions.  Pick up a copy of “Come What May” and give it a watch.  But get ready to be challenged.

“Do what is right! And, come what may!”

A rose for MomTo all of our Moms, and Moms of our children,

Happy Mothers’ Day

You are truely a gift from God.  Thank you for the life you’ve given us.  Thank you for all of your selfless years.  Thank you for the discipline we’ve needed and our children needed to become the children God wants us to be.  Thank you, and we love you!

Today day is the first day of May. It is also the first day we have seen sun shine for several days, and along with the sun shine there is still very much snow.  The combination of the two make for a very beautiful scene.  The snow may be gone within a few days, so we are enjoying the beauty while it lasts.  Underneith, everything is turning green, and that will be a nice welcome from all of the white.
