In last week’s message on the book of 1 John, the 5 “IF’s” pertain to how we believe God to be.  We need to come to an understand of God dealing withour sin nature.  man’s sin nature exists today, and to the very end.  It needs to be dealt with.  In Chapter 2, John continues on aobuit our sin nature.  he now takes the focus off the opponents, to those that remained faithful.
