I had my blood test done today to determine what type of blood I have. I also received my Doctor’s ok to take the trip to Moldova. Carol and I are planning a trip to Moldova with our church on a short term missions trip in October. Click HERE (or click the blue and white cross in the upper right hand corner of our home page) to see information on our trip.
Our family made the rare treck to the local movie theator and saw Wall-E. This is a wonderful picture created by Pixar about a little robot left on Earth for 700 years after Earth was abandoned. During this time, Wall-E developed a personality. If you have a chance to see this great film, take advantage of it. It is rated G and great for the whole family, whatever the age. We celebrated Desire’s birthday early again this year because it fell, once again, in the middle of Bible Camp. It was a low-keyed event with just the family. Click HERE to see some pictures. Happy Birthday and have a blessed year Desire’.
Carol and I plan on going to Moldova with a group from our church in October. We applied for our passports on June 6. Carol received her passport on June 18. I did not receive my passport that day because I made a mistake on the application and had to fill out a simple form to fix the problem. I received my passport today. I can hardly believe how fast we got our passports. One more item checked off the to do list. Yeah!
Carol and I plan on going to Moldova with a group from our church in October. We applied for our passports on June 6. Yesterday, Carol received her passport. That was twelve days for a passport. Wow! As of the time I have written this, I did not receive mine. Maybe it will be in today’s mail.
Update: After I posted this, I got today’s mail. I did not get my passport; but instead, I got a notice that I made a clerical error on the application. I filled out a simple form to correct the error and popped it in the mail. So, now it is time to wait… wait,,, wait,,,
We had a rain shower this after noon that ended with a very beautiful rainbow. The rainbow looked so close we thought we could practically reach out and touch it. After I took some pictures of it, we saw, on the pictures, that it was actually a double rainbow. If you look close, you can see a faint larger rainbow. I did a sloppy job of stitching two pictures together since the whole rainbow would not fit into one picture. Click on the picture to see a slide show of this and other pictures from around our home. What a beautiful picture of God’s continuing promise. (Gen. 9:12-17)
